Attack and stealing chances are important features in Monster Hustle. Your chance is an indicator for a successful action. And successful actions provide the most loot and tournament points!
So let us get into the details!
Your attack or stealing chance becomes visible in a little info window when you click on an enemy or on enemy pizza inside the chamber you are raiding.
The higher your monster's skills , the better your attack or loot chance. With equipment such as gloves and guitars you can improve your attack chances additionally!
The longer your attack streak, the better your loot income at the end of the raid. If the attacking chance for example is 80%, a virtual dice will be rolled with 100 chance points when you press the "Attack" button. 80 of those points are green (success) and 20 are red (fail), which equals 80%+20%=100%.
Generally chances carry an element of randomness and probabilities are a tricky science. So even if you have an attack chance of 90% on every single of 8 attack or stealing attempts, the chance for a series of 8 successful actions is 43%.
Imagine there are 1.000 people with 100 identical way paths in front of them, 90 of these ways lead into a new room and 10 have a dead end. On average 900 people will proceed and the rest will end up in dead ends. If you add 100 new identical way paths to these new rooms, from the 900 people only 810 will make a progress. After 8 of these test runs, only 430 from 1.000 people made a constant progress, even if every single attempt had a success propability of 90%.
It is the same in Monster Hustle!
